Coventry school term 2025-26 dates

If you’re a parent, you’ll know just how difficult it can be to keep track of school holidays. Knowing when they are with plenty of notice can help you plan childcare, family holidays and buying new uniforms. Spring Term (2025)
Following the February half-term, the schools in Coventry return on Monday 24 February 2025 for six weeks before the Easter holidays, with term ending on Friday 25 April.

• Term starts: Monday 24 February to Friday 11 April 

• Easter holidays: Monday 14 April to Friday 25 April 

• Back to school: Monday 28 April

Summer Term (2025)

Following the Easter holidays, the summer term begins for schools in Coventry, starting Monday 28 April 2025 for four weeks, followed by half-term. Term resumes Monday 2 June until the summer holidays.

• Term starts: Monday 28 April to Friday 23 May

• Half-term holiday: Monday 26 May to Friday 30 May 

• Back to school: Monday 2 June 

• Term ends: Monday 21 July

Autumn starts Tuesday 2 September 2025 for eight weeks, followed by a half-term break and resumes Monday 3 November until the Christmas holidays.

• Back to school: Monday 3 November 

• Term ends: Friday 19 December

Starts Monday 5 January 2026 for six weeks, followed by half-term. Term resumes Monday 23 February until Easter holidays.

• Half-term holiday: Monday 16 February to Friday 20 February

• Term ends: Friday 27 March 

• Easter holidays: Monday 30 March to Friday 10 April

Summer Term (2026)

Summer term 2026 in Coventry starts on Monday 13 April for six weeks, followed by half-term. School resumes on Monday 1 June until the summer holidays.
