Easter events in Birmingham 2025

With Easter just around the corner, you might be looking to get some plans in the diary. The good news is, if you live in Birmingham, there is plenty taking place.

To help, we’ve put together this handy guide to fun, family-friendly events taking place in Birmingham over Easter.

Head to Birmingham’s Botanical Gardens

Check out the many Alice in Wonderland-themed activities taking place at the Birmingham Botanical Gardens this Easter. From 12th to 27th April, there’s The White Rabbit’s Botanical Trail, which is a self-guided tour through the gardens looking for clues and solving challenges to earn a chocolatey reward.

From 17th to 20th April, you can join Alice’s Easterland Adventure - an interactive, fun-filled event that the whole family will love. Taking place in the gardens, all your favourite characters from the classic story will be there to join you at the Mad Hatter's Tea Party, plus your little ones will get the chance to make their own Mad Hatter's Hat at the Garden Art Club.

Easter Little Ravers at Rosies Club, Birmingham

If you’re looking for something a little different to do this Easter, then why not head to Rosies for an indoor family disco for children eight and under.

The event takes place from 1pm-4pm on Saturday 19th April, and will include music, games, ball pits, giant inflatables and a host of Easter fun. Plus, every child will get a free Easter egg.

Cadbury World

What better time to visit the home of chocolate than Easter? Whether you’re a Cadbury World novice or a regular visitor, it's a must over the Easter holidays.

Not only is this guaranteed to be a treat for your taste buds, but it’s also a great opportunity to learn about the brand we’ve all grown up with. If you visit between the 5th and 27th April, check out the Mr Cadbury Parrots Easter Egg-stravaganza stage show to make your visit even more memorable.

Easter card making and cookie decorating

The Boston Tea Party on Corporation Street, Birmingham is offering two Easter events. From 10am to 12pm on the 17th and 24th April, you can head down for a fun morning of card crafts. Then, on the 15th and 22nd of April, they will be holding an Easter cookie decoration session. Be sure to check out both of these fantastic events.

The People’s Theatre Company: A Big Egg

On Saturday 26th April, why not head to the Midlands Art Centre at Cannon Hill Park to catch a charming production of A Big Egg. Based on a picture book, A Big Egg tells the charming story of Jack and his little sister Molly and their fascination with Eggs. Featuring live action, animation and puppetry, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

Remember to check school uniforms

While there’s plenty of fun to be had during the Easter break, don’t forget to check that your child's school uniform still fits. Be sure to pop over to Clive Mark for all your school uniform needs, or if you prefer to visit us, simply head to one of our shops in Birmingham.
